Join us as we examine what the existence of race and racism means in each of our daily lives and across our varying levels of awareness. You will examine how your stories map onto the history of racism in St. Louis and southern Illinois, with the goal of developing a deeper understanding of how we can disentangle racism around us. The SIUE Office of Online and Education Outreach is partnering with the Truth and Racial Healing Task Force to provide a workshop series entitled “So You Want to Be An Anti-Racist?” The workshop series will be offered on 3 Thursday evenings, beginning next week, and will feature various speakers from both the University and Community partners. This series is FREE for anyone to attend and will be hosted via Zoom. We would love to have some of your community and business members attend.
